On June 26, 2026, CEO of VBTECH, Mrs Dam Thi Hong Lan attended the launch ceremony of the Vietnam National Multi-Project Wafer Coordination Center (VNMPW/CC), organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology in Hanoi. During the event, CEO of VBTECH joined a high-level discussion with the Minister of MOST (Ministry of Science and Technology), government agencies, universities, research institutes, and industry representatives to share opinions and discuss proposals for the development of the national MPW center and promote to semiconductor ecosystem in Viet Nam.

As the authorized partner of Siemens EDA in Vietnam, VBTECH has been working closely with universities, enterprises, and government organizations to develop semiconductor talent as well as consulting and transferimy technology of advanced IC design and semiconductor manufacturing. Through the collaboration between Siemens EDA and the National Innovation Center (NIC) in 2024, Siemens EDA sponsored EDA tool licenses to 18 universities across Vietnam, helping establish a strong foundation for educating the next generation of semiconductor engineers.
Not only EDA design tools, Siemens EDA offers full portfolio of design and manufacturing Chip such as Design, Verification, Signoff, Design-for-Test (DFT), Veloce Hardware Emulation, FPGA Prototyping, and Packaging Design etc. These technologies play a critical role in reducing development time, improving silicon quality, and accelerating the commercialization of chip. Therefore, Siemens EDA will collaborate with VNMPW/CC with specific activities to support to Vietnam’s ambition of developing Chips Made in Vietnam.
